Objective: To make a circuit that detects the conduction of electricity in different materials.Conduction is where electricity is being transported from one place to another, like a charger for a computer. This conductor senses if electricity is being conducted. Mom and I tested to see if metal or plastic or glass were conductors. Metal = yes, plastic and glass = no.
I liked this experiment a lot. It shows how we can affect what electricity does. It also demonstrates that you can protect yourself with the proper tools and gloves when working on electrical stuff in the house. To change a light switch you need to use plastic handle tools, AND turn off the power to the switch, Good job!
